In the conversation with Nicole Davis, she discussed where confidence comes from. She believes confidence doesn’t come from preparation, but rather from the things that you say to yourself.
“You can shoot a shot 10, 000 times in a row, but when the world is watching if you are saying to yourself ‘What if I mess up?’ that’s like going to Vegas and rolling the dice.”
Nicole believes that ultimately parents should be responsible for teaching kids the mechanics of confidence, yet many don’t understand it themselves.
