The first step is to understand that flow only happens during moments of uninterrupted concentration.

“Find a 90 minute block, preferably first thing in the morning – turn off your cell phone, turn off your e-mail, shut down Facebook and everything else. Have no distractions and do the hardest thing you have to do all day first.”
